2. Tap the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner.
3. Under Content & Activity, tap Dark mode.
4. If you want dark mode on all the time, tap the Dark circle checkbox.
Alternatively, if you want TikTok to shift between dark and light mode according to your device’s settings, tap the Use device settings button to turn it on.

Why Use Dark Mode on TikTok?
Dark mode is easier on the eyes in low light conditions, such as at night. It reduces eye strain and is ideal for when you’re not planning to read lengthy paragraphs of text.
When you enable dark mode on TikTok, you won’t see any changes on the Home or Post tabs. Instead, you’ll notice the appearance change on tabs like Discover, Inbox, and Me.
If you use TikTok almost entirely to view videos within your Home feed or post your own content, you may not notice much of a difference by enabling dark mode. However, if you regularly like to search for new content on the Discover tab, message other users, and access your profile, enabling dark mode may benefit you.
