How to Delete LinkedIn Account
Basically, there are two different ways through which you can delete your LinkedIn account and they are;
- Via LinkedIn Close Portal
- Via Your LinkedIn Account Settings

How to Delete LinkedIn Account Via LinkedIn Close Account Portal
Follow the steps below to close your LinkedIn Account. It is easy and simple to complete;
1. Go to LinkedIn Close portal here
2. You will be asked why you want to close your LinkedIn account.

3. Select your reason from the options listed.
4. You also have a space to type in any other thing you may want to include.
5. Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the process.
How to Deactivate Your LinkedIn Account Via Settings
You can also deactivate your LinkedIn account by following the procedure below;
1. Log in to your LinkedIn account and click the ‘Me’ icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
2. Select “Settings & Privacy” from the dropdown options.
3. Under the “Account Management” section of the Account tab, click “Change” next to closing your LinkedIn account.
4. Select the reason for closing your LinkedIn account and click “Next”.
5. Enter your account password and click “Close Account”
Important Note to Deleting Your LinkedIn Account
It is important to note that, within 20 days of closing your account, LinkedIn can allow you reopen your account, but once it exceeds 20 days, you will not be able to do so anymore.
To reopen your account, simply login your LinkedIn account again using the email address and password that are registered to your LinkedIn account.
You can also click the link received in the original account closure email. If the link does not work, you will be redirected to the login page.
Click Reactivate to initiate this process, and you will be sent an email where you can confirm that you would like to reopen your LinkedIn account.
