From your chat section, tap on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of the WhatsApp. Do ensure you do this from the chat section.

Once you tap this three vertical options, list of options will appear.

1. Tap on “Settings”

2. Tap on “Account”

3. And select “Privacy”

4. Scroll down to see “Blocked Contacts”, tap on it. (This will show you list of person you have blocked already).

But then, look at the top-right corner of the page, you will see the Add and human icon. This is suggests you can add any person to the blocked contacts list.

5. Tap on this icon, and you will see list of your WhatsApp contacts. Scroll through to find the person you want to block.

6. Tap on the contact to add the person to the “Blocked Contacts”
